Mr. Coburn says... " Thanks "

Welcome back students! How was your holiday? Again I want to say thank you for an exciting birthday party, your many well-wishes and greeting card, and your gifts. You may my day! tuesday evening my Grandson who is turning six came over to celebrate with his mother (My daughter). My wife made chicken pot pie. Yesterday the rest of the family arrived. I hung out the American flag for Veterans' day and we talked and laughed together all evening. Carolyn, my wife fired pork chops and baked a chocolate cake. We opened my gifts, books and gift to Barnes and Noble bookstore. We ended the evening playing a game with the grandkids and then sent everyone off with hugs and kisses. It was a wonderful time and made a bank of memories.

What couple do you know have been together most of their lives...?

Grandmother and Grandfather have been living together for 57 years. Their relationship has been good, even though in the last years it wasn't easy for Grandma, because she has to do her chores and take care of Grandpa. He is a diabetic. Sometimes I feel sad because they live alone and I can't do very much for them. When I was a child they took care of me for 2 years, and I have appreciated that. I will never forget it. Honestly I do not remember that they may have had fights. Now I can't say if they are happy or unhappy, because it is almost 14 years that I have not seen them. But something that I can corroborate is that they have tried to do the best for us, and they continue together. In conclusion, I consider that they have done a good job, and I am sure love lives in their hearts...
